How CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing Works

A local anaesthetic is applied during the CO2 laser skin resurfacing procedure to relieve any potential discomfort. 

CO2 laser skin resurfacing can be administered on various areas, including:

• Around the Eyes: Target fine lines and wrinkles.

• Around the Mouth: Smooth out deeper lines and wrinkles.

• Acne Scarring on the Cheeks: Minimise the appearance of scars.

• Full Face: Address fine lines, sun damage, and skin texture.

• Hands: Rejuvenate ageing hands and improve skin appearance.

CO2 laser skin resurfacing is ideal for individuals with significant facial lines and deep wrinkles, facial scars including acne scarring, and uneven pigmentation due to sun damage. However, it is not recommended for treating hormonal pigmentation like melasma.

This treatment is not recommended for darker skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types 5 and 6).
